3M™ Novec™ Electronic Gragde Coatings (EGCs)는 여러 종류의 전자 부품들을 수분, 먼지, 습기 및 기타 오염물질로부터 보호하며, 이형 및 슬립성을 부여해 마찰을 방지합니다. 
제품군은 아크릴폴리머와 알콕시실란계 기반의 불소화합물들로 나누어지며 확산방지, 마찰방지, 부식방지를 위해 아주 얇은 코팅을 하는 표면가공제 (surface modifiers)입니다.
